#Mayhem Madness! #Handmade #Folksy.

Back to Mayhem today. Another view of the listing clubs wonderful craft items. The numbers are growing, adding more variety to the many delectable delights on offer. Our aim is to tempt you to buy quality handmade goods for youself and as gifts for others, rather than mass produced things that you can get everywhere. Where is the fun, enjoyment and pleasure in that? Knowing that lot`s of other people have exactly the same things as you can`t be good, so much nicer to have something unique and special.
I was busy yesterday. Looked after my youngest grandson while his mum was at work. Bless his little heart he is covered in Chickenpox spots, caught from his 4 yr old brother. He was a little bit under the weather, but not unduly so. We had a play in the garden for a while and with some toys indoors after. I think it got a bit warm for him, the temp climbed to 24 at one point. Was very warm until the wind started up again. I got some crocheting done when he was asleep and then went into the city for necessities. Don`t go now unless I absolutely have to. Once upon a time I used to go in at least twice a week. Now it`s too much time away from crafting and computer work.
Enough waffle from me. I could fill the entire page in no time, without even trying. Perhaps there should be a waffling competition, I might win... Hmmm...
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.

Today it`s madness and mayhem,
I`m not mad it must be them.
I think we are all a little bit mad
but we love crafting and we`re glad,
to have something we love to do
as a job, making things for you.
Sometimes folk look down on us,
think we make an undue fuss,
about the endless amount of work
it all entails, but we don`t shirk.
The costs and hours, they don`t see
and say, "HOW MUCH?" with great glee!
We don`t care, we soldier on
getting all our job`s done.
We carry on because we must
it`s keep creating or bust.
I think it`s our artistic bent
even though sometimes we vent.
Rail at fate, how much work there is
often getting in a right old tizz.
All that artistic creativity
has to come out somewhere you see.
We have to sell what we make
else we`d drown in a lake
of our own making,
honest I`m not faking.
We create fast when ideas flow
and the amount of stock seems to grow.
So quick, you have to help you see,
by visiting our shops to have a spree!!

#Bathroom Delights. #Handmade #Folksy

Couldn`t decide what to do today, so I had a look on the Folksy Forums. A thread on there pointed me to a blog about handmade soap, it was so interesting that it decided me. At first I was just going to do soap by itself, but then I decided to branch out and look for more bathroom related items. It was a job to tear myself away from the soap listings though. So many of them are so beautiful and many look delightfully edible. I did manage to though and had a quick look under shower and then bathroom. Amazing! I couldn`t believe how much there was available, such a variety. I have discovered quite a few shops I haven`t seen before. I could easily spend a fortune, at times I have a hard job restraining myself. Many times I don`t manage to.
As I don`t have any bathroom related products I haven`t included my new listings today. I will include them tomorrow instead.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Always so busy don`t you know
even taking time to make things grow.
Filled the baskets and every pot
getting ready for when it`s hot.
Now I hear there could be drought
what on earth is that all about?
Not much rain, the driest for years
it could very well end in tears.
Please don`t, not again
don`t want that awful pain.
Months waiting for summer to begin
and fed up with the endless rainin`.
When they forecast hot and dry
we all give out a great big sigh.
Here it comes a summer of rain
then how will we stay sane.
If the forecast is rain non stop
that will catch them on the hop.
It always means lots of summer sun
outdoor living and lot`s of fun.
All we can do is sit and hope
and try so hard not to mope,
while we watch, listen and wait,
resigned to discover our fate.

#Bags and Purses #Handmade #Folksy.

Thought I would choose bags and purses today to show you. There are so many lovely bags on Folksy, all sorts and styles. Shopping bags, totes, handbags and back packs and more. The purses too have such a wide range available, some of them are like works of art and all of them, handbags and purses are unique. Individually made and as far as it is possible for you to get from mass produced. Most of us women love our handbags, they are so much more than a necessity. A bag says a little bit about us, whether we want one that is purely servicable or one that makes a statement.
If you are anything like me you carry all sorts of things in your bag. I carry basics like phone, purse, card wallet, and a few tissues and have a lot more too. Such as a pen, a small notebook, nail file, plasters, painkillers and often a bottle of water. If I am out with the children there will be fruit flakes and fruit bars too. Plus an assortment of junk that needs to be cleared out. Trouble is, when I clear it all out, most of it goes back in and the bigger the bag the more stuff I fill it with.
Does that sound familiar with anyone? Hmmm, with quite a few of you I should think.
As ever, to see a description or a bigger picture, just click on the item to view it in the shop.

Here we have bags galore
then I suppose you want more.
I found purses just for you
all so beautiful and unique too.
We all have an individual style
that often differs by a mile.
I like a big handbag for all my stuff
I carry so much it has to be tough.
Others like a small purse size
for me though, big takes the prize.
Mine is purple, what a shock
for purple I would go into hock.
Some folks like theirs very plain
and prefer dark colours, that don`t stain.
Some people go for ultra pretty
others like something witty.
What sort of purse do you like?
How about something for the little tike?
So much choice available here now.
Folksy sellers should take a bow.
So come and look, come and view,
all that we have in our stores for you!!
