April Showers Finale #Handmade #Folksy

Well that`s it then. Another month gone, can you believe it? Doesn`t seem like five minutes since I was writing that at the end of March. It`s quite scary how fast the time goes. The pace of life is always so busy, that sometimes I forget to stop and savour the moment.
Today will be a last April Showers blog post as the new listing club starts today. There will be more about that tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone for my birthday wishes yesterday. It was a lovely day, both my daughters were here and the grandchildren visited for a while. I even had a bounce on the trampoline with the little ones, it was great fun. It`s been a while since I did that. Later in the day I went with my daughter and her fiance to look at a possible venue for her wedding. A really beautiful old building that would make a stunning backdrop for such an event..
I love birthdays, they are great. Now I have another year of possibilities, adventures and fun before the next one.

My birthday was good, we had fun
now it`s gone and April is done.
Got a lovely bouquet, it had ladybirds too.
It`s sitting on my table, a gorgeous view.
A voucher for a well known store
could I really want for more.
A glass rainbow, a stunning design
could there be anything more fine.
A hanging decoration of butterflies
produced from everyone lots of sighs.
Will have to keep a close eye on that one
otherwise I just might find it gone.
We all love butterflies very much
and these are so soft to the touch.
Did I mention they are purple aswell?
A favourite colour, can you tell?
I also got a wonderful loom
after some practice I might zoom
through making woven fabric to my design
now won`t that, be so very fine.
I love trying out something new
I like to keep busy, have something to do.
I got some fabulous books on techniques
and I`ll be enjoying them for weeks.
I just need more hours in the day
because at my crafts I need to play
and master them all, to get things made.
I wouldn`t want all these ideas to fade
out of my head and disappear
can`t have that, no fear.
