Vibrant Colour #Etsy

I saw these gorgeous items in a treasury and just had to use some of them because they are so beautiful. The colours just seem to really draw the eye .... Well they do for me anyway. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Today I am heading off for the weekend to visit family. Hubby is of course staying at home because all the constant talking is not his thing for some strange reason.
Can I help it if we have a lot to catch up on?
We`ll be putting the world to rights and discussing everything under the sun and I can`t wait.
I will return after the weekend feeling totally renewed.

Yes I`m heading off again
going visiting on the train.
Hubby he`s staying behind
but he really doesn`t mind.
In fact he prefers it that way
something he`s quick to say.
He`ll have to cook his own tea
but he cannot cook you see.
I stock up on the odd ready meal
on them you can get a good deal.
He can put it in the oven to heat
no hardship then just to eat.
He`s a boy so no washing up
well apart from a tea cup.
He eats it out of the plastic dish.
Using a plate? Hmm, I wish.
Proper food he will lack
and be glad when I get back!!

Spotty Dotty #Etsy

Yesterday was grey with a chill wind, we seem to be going backwards again in the weather stakes.
While out and about with hubby I got some tiny tomato plants, well plugs ready to be replanted into little pots first.
I saw some lovely fruit bushes too which I might just go back and get today. Let me think..... what did they have? Strawberry, blueberry and blackberry I think.
Strawberries would be better in a pot, I would think, as they tend to get everywhere when tbey are in the ground as I know from past experience.
I did some sewing yesterday, not a favourite pastime but sadly necessary. I was sewing beads onto glass, jug and bowl covers. I am doing more this year as they have been popular in the past, especially the net ones.
I have done different sizes and colours, the glass ones have coasters to match. Still got more to crochet and then I`ll really have to get stuck in on the bead sewing part.

Not nice weather yesterday,
was overcast, gloomy and grey.
I made a plan and that went south,
shouldn`t have opened my mouth.
The plan was finishing a commission
that was to be the main mission.
Followed by crochet and sewing
instead there was I flowing
out of the door bag in hand
going off to a foreign land.
A car parts place of all things,
was busy wishing I had wings.
Two other shops were visited too
it`s enough you make you feel blue.
Shopping isn`t a favourite of mine
without it everything would be fine!!

Floral Bouquet #Etsy

The treasury app I use isn`t working again so I have done this the old way, by hand, hence there are fewer creations. It takes quite a while. Hopefully it will soon be up and working again. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday I was up before 5.00 a.m for some reason but I did get quite a bit done. Listing, promoting said listings and promoting this blog. Did my e-mails and facebook, then started editing photos all before 7.30 a.m.
By 7.45 a.m I was back in bed with my kindle and a cup of tea. Nothing quite like relaxing with a good book and a cuppa.
I decided that I need to spend more time on my crafting and much less online. I may even take a break from blogging again. Or maybe do less in a week again, perhaps 4 instead of 7. I will have to see.

Yesterday I went to the city
didn`t start well, such a pity.
I went from place to place,
not one smile upon a face.
Non existent service or slow
and started to make me glow.
Wasn`t a glow of delight
more of a glowering sight.
Met a friend, began to improve,
started to get into the groove.
Coffee, chat, a bit of shopping
all soon had me happy and hopping.
That was followed by a hunch
look at that, time for lunch!!

Great Gift Ideas #Etsy

This was a treasury I did for the Craftyfolk team Scavenger hunt. The previous weeks winner chose a theme of Birthday and all her words were to do with that theme.
I decided that where possible I would choose items that would make great gifts. After all there is always some occasion to buy for like birthdays and anniversaries etc. Then of course here in the UK we have Mothers Day at the end of the month.
So I hope these all give you ideas for gifts you need to get.

Yesterday I wasn`t really getting organised. I think when things are quiet and not many sales are happening then I start to question why I bother.
I know it`s not just me that gets like that, most of us do at one time or another even though we love what we do.

Cannot think, cannot rhyme
and just cannot find the time.
Working hard, getting nowhere,
more inclined to sit and stare.
Need to get my a**e in gear
not happening soon I fear.
What`s happened to my motivation
where is my inspiration?
All vanished out the door
maybe floating on the floor.
Nope, nowhere to be found
don`t think it`s anywhere around.
Ah well tomorrow`s another day
I`ll have another go and play!!
