I have joined the new daily listing club now, it`s called the April Show-ers. I will be blogging about them tomorrow, a nice Sunday showcase of talent.
Today however we are back onto the shop sellers who have favorited my shop. Those who have been following this know that I show one item per shop and have been working my way, albeit slowly, through them all. I have even resorted to putting a bigger display on here to help get through them all. Nice though, to see all these different shops, some of which I haven`t seen for a while.

Yesterday it was very blowy
still it`s better than being snowy.
It rattled fences as it blew around.
sending things along the ground.
Chairs and toys went flying
the leaves were rustling and sighing.
The sun was in, then it was out
just what is this all about?
A gentle warmth said spring was here
now it`s windy, wild and gone I fear.
Forecasters threaten a rotten summer
now wouldn`t that be a bummer!
But usually they`re wrong when they say bad
it`s when they say it`ll be good we end up sad.
Because then we wait all summer long,
to go to the beach and throng
we wait in vain for summer`s heat
then give up, knowing we are beat.
You`d think by now they`d get it right
why don`t they understand our plight?
We want to plan our fun and play
not to have to guess on the day!
The power of thought is great indeed
so why don`t we all plant the seed!
All should think hot summer sun
think positive and it should be done.
Would it, could it work for us?
Well if it doesn`t I will cuss!
This year should be a summer to remember
lasting all the way until December!
Now that would be really great
if only that could be our fate.
Warmer days and balmy weather
and we would enjoy it all together!

March Hares Finale on Folksy Friday.

This is a very last March Hares blog for Folksy Friday. I hope you have all enjoyed seeing the fruits of the daily listing club. Throughout April there will be another daily listing club. Quite a few of the names will be the same but there will also be new ones joining too. This of course does make it more interesting as we will see more variety. Although saying that I think we have quite a good amount of diversity in any monthly listing club. For those who have been following for a while I expect you will have noticed lots of changes over the months even with th same shops. There is of course the change now from Winter to Spring items.
I would at this point like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to Natalie of NOFKants Curios for her continued hard work in keeping the listing clubs going. Apparently the first one started in April of last year and has been going ever since, thanks to Natalie. Her tireless work, support and encouragement have kept us all going, even when we flag. The members all support each other too and if we fail to, Natalie gently reminds us to help each other. Folksy has a good community spirit and things like this just make it even better.

So just where did March go?
It vanished in the ebb and flow.
The ebb and flow of a busy life,
full of work and often strife.
We have to make the time for play
even in the rush of a busy day.
Do you take time to smell the roses?
What a welter of thought that poses.
I`m lucky to be doing something great
crafting and painting is a wonderful fate.
If everyone could do what they like best
life in general wouldn`t be such a test.
We`d rise every day eager and bright
knowing that what we do will bring the light
of pleasure and enjoyment in to our lives
in that sort of world everyone thrives.
We crafters devote all our spare moments
to creating and ignore any opponents.
Any that do their best to deride
are only showing their very worst side.
We`ve all come across folk who look down
their noses at our work and frown.
They don`t notice the quality or original design
how beautifully made it is, or how fine.
They`ll pay much more for mass produced stuff
where often, if they look closer, the finish is rough.
We crafters are proud of an exceptional finish
something that time will not diminish.
So buy from Uk crafters for gifts and yourself,
cos their quality won`t leave them stuck on a shelf!

#Showcase of New Shops. #Handmade #Folksy

I thought I would showcase new shops today. It`s always nice to see new shops and what they have to offer. It`s quite exciting for the seller to see the views rising on different items and know that people are interested enough in your creations to have a look. So don`t forget to click on the pictures and got to the shops for a browse. You will enjoy it and so will the shop owners Even now I still check on the views for new items, to see how many have been interested enough to look and also to see if anyone likes it enough to favorite the item. If it`s been bought of course it shows up immediately and I then send a message thanking the buyer for their order and telling them I will post it that day or the next if it is late in the day. I know that I like to know a seller has received my order, so I feel my buyers would like an acknowledgement too.
I was at work all day yesterday, so I didn`t get much creating done, just some crochet in my lunch hour and a couple of hours again in the evening. I have made some more autiful lacy headbands. I am also still working on two more lacy summer wraps. They take quite a long time to make. One is in shades of blue and purple, a lovely yarn that is thicker for those summer evenings when it turns unexpectedly cool. The other is in bamboo yarn in white and shades of blue. I have also finished a beige wrap in bamboo that I promised a friend could see first. She has been away, so it is still waiting, although there has been a lot of interest in it. I was really delighted with the way it came out and am very tempted to keep it myself. Will have to see. Each one of course is a One of a Kind, totally unique.
Well enough waffle.

I walked to work in a different world,
cloudy and grey, while the wind swirled.
What happened to the lovely sunshine
I much preferred the weather fine.
Last night, in came the rain
will the sun ever come back again?
We get a taste of spring and then it`s gone
enough now, I want the winter to be done.
It`s time for spring to come and stay
it`s time that winter had it`s day.
I dream of of long summer days too
isn`t it the same for you?
Now it`s time for a subject change
I have something from each new shops range.
They have all taken a chance to be
a crafter selling their goods on Folksy.
Let`s give them all our support
and help them to hold the fort.
It`s fun, exciting and scary
not for the faint hearted and wary.
But with lots of you supporting handmade
all our wonderful crafts won`t fade
So come and visit and see what we`ve got
you`ll find our creations are very hot!
So be quick to buy that special treat
else someone else is bound to beat,
you to that wonderful prize.
So be sensible and get wise
be first to to see and to buy
