With the need to do a few blogs in advance I decided I would do one as a treasury. As team members we need to take part and help promote other team members if we wish to enjoy the same benefits.
This one is a Euro Front Page Challenge for the Craftyfolk team and last weeks winner was Danielle of Colour Me Fun.

Thank you for popping by our shop! We focus on making quality hand-poured crayons in a wide range of colours and shapes. Not only do we use top quality wax we are also supporting UK industries by purchasing from UK makers.
Danielle makes a great variety of crayons and not just for the children. They are a great idea for wedding favours and party bags and gifts. Do have a browse I think you`ll be surprised to see the diversity of her designs, especially if you haven`t looked before assuming it was all children`s things.
A busy weekend ahead with a big family get together tonight, so I shall be doing lots of baking for that today. I`ll be making a variety of breads and a few quiches and possibly cakes too.
Then of course Sunday is Mother`s Day and I shall be at my younger daughter`s house and have a delicious Sunday roast cooked for me. That will of course be shared with my daughter`s lovely In Laws, so we will have a lovely time with good company and good food.

Who doesn`t love to see bright?
Always such an uplifting sight.
They make me think of summer days
and getting into summer ways.
The first one is the yellow
sunny, whether bright or mellow.
The very next is a red
cheery it has to be said.
Then comes a navy blue.
I found other shades too.
Pretty whether vivid or pale
pink is popular without fail.
The last but not the least
of this veritable feast
is the colour that loves to be seen
yes, I`m talking about the green.

Pastel Pink #Etsy

This started life as a treasury for the Craftyfolk Shop of the Week, Snuggles&Cuddles. I decided to do the proverbial two birds with one stone, metaphorically speaking of course and put the contents on here.
The owner of this beautiful shop is Eleanor and she not only makes gorgeous baby clothes and accessories, she also makes Jewellery. Then as if that wan`t enough she makes cards too.
Her bio says:
Young at heart, mum of 2 grown up children. Love all crafts, but knitting is my 1st love. started knitting at the age of 6, 37yrs later I still love it!
Short and to the point but says a lot. That knitting is her first love is obvious from the gorgeous and very cute baby creations. The jewellery too is beautiful as are the cards, a very obvious testament to Eleanor`s love of crafts.
If you get the chance do have a browse through all these lovely shops otherwise you`ll never know what gorgeousness you missed.

Pastel pink is very sweet
almost good enough to eat.
Some so pretty it would seem,
it could be eaten like ice cream.
So much pink could mean maybe,
the secret is out there`s a new baby.
One that will be sugar and spice
and of course, all things nice.
Big girls too, they like pink
supposed to make the boys wink.
These days though the boys like it too
and there are more than a few.
Once upon a time they`d shy away
from wearing pink on any day.
Pastel pinks, made for spring
almost make me want to sing.
Soon we`ll be wearing pink dresses
cardigans and wraps and in our tresses.
Pink though is lovely all year round
most pastels in spring will be found!!

Spring Blush #Etsy

Now this started life as a treasury. I saw the Euro Front Page treasury challenge on the Craftyfolk team forum and made a start, that was a few days ago. At the time I ran out of time and made a mental note to go back to it. Then last night thinking about what to put on here I decided to finish that treasury before I was out of time and then have it on here too.
It was supposed to save me time, especially as it was half done but it didn`t.
One of the main things for this challenge is for the treasury to fit the European Front Page of Etsy criteria. There is a button to click on that lets you know if it fits the basic criteria, which at first mine didn`t. I fell down on the at least 8 items must be from Europe. It does highlight the ones that don`t fit.
So off I had to go searching again for what I wanted in European shops and that took a while. By this time of course it was quicker to keep going forward than abandon it to find something else to have on here.
I finally got it done and after letting everyone involved know, I transferred it to here.
I got in an hours worth of needle felting before work yesterday morning. Have to say I am getting much quicker at it the more that I do. As I was at work yesterday that was the only crafting I managed as I went out in the evening for a drink with my brother and sister in law. Nice and relaxing.

Spring often comes all in a rush
and the flowers seem to blush
in their first opening, I think,
so I went for reds and pink.
As the earth slowly starts to warm
the insects come back to life and swarm.
The buzz of life is in the air
as they awaken without a care.
Leaves slowly start to unfurl
even as the buds begin to uncurl.
So much beauty about to burst
that will satisfy our thirst
for the plant life to come back.
We have really felt it`s lack.
The signs they`re all there, never fear
here comes the warmth we all hold dear.
No one can hold back the tide
of the seasons, just ride
out the crest of each wave
ever and always Nature`s slave!!
