Gift Ideas From September Embers.

Today I think we`ll have a September Embers blog. For those that don`t know, it`s the daily listing club on Folksy. It`s more of a personal challenge than a rule to try and list at least one new item each day. It seemed to be a bit quiet on the forums at the minute but I think alot of people are having their holidays now. Can`t say I blame them as I have only just come back from a week away myself.
I am sure though that I will find lot`s of wonderful crafts to show you, not to mention the last few days of my listings too.
I have found lot`s of great crafts that will make great gifts for yourselves or others. Well I think they are great gift ideas anyway, hope you do too.
Had a good stock up at the supermarket yesterday, then spent the afternoon visiting my Mother in Law in hospital as she is unwell at the minute. I took my crochet with me to do on the bus as it takes three quarters of an hour each way. I showed her the new yarn I had bought and her eyes lit up, so I showed her what I was making and for a little while she was a bit more animated, bless her.
I have been trying and failing to find pictures of my brother when he was younger, now I shall have to spend some time going through all my CDs that hold my photos, that will take a while. He will be 60 years old at the weekend so we wanted to pin up a few of him through the decades. At this point I will also say he is my much older brother.

Still dreaming of swiss mountains,
remembering the many fountains.
The wonderful scenery that we saw,
picture perfect, without a flaw.
Snow capped mountains against the blue sky,
remembering it all makes me sigh.
Back now to every day life again,
dreaming of scenic routes on the train.
Sparkling water on blue filled lakes,
where do you find that for goodness sakes.
Lot`s of bikes and plenty of boats
every sort you find that floats.
Lakes and rivers, oh so clean
swimmers in them are often seen.
Now I`m back, it`s just a lovely dream,
or at least that`s how it does seem.
Maybe I`ll go again one day,
who knows, who can say!
