RED for DANGER. #Handmade #Folksy

Monday again already. Do the weekends go faster than the week days I wonder or is it just that there are more days during the week. Hmmm... Well that`s a thought to ponder. Although I have to say, the weeks do seem to be flying past. I really do love my life, it`s brilliant. Would like my younger daughter closer to home but her time is Switzerland is a great adventure for them and a brilliant experience to have. It also means that I will get to see Switzerland too when we go and visit her. The pictures I`ve seen so far are breathtaking, such stunning scenery. I can`t wait to go see it for myself.
Moving on to today`s blog. I decided to have a red theme today. Last week I saw a thread on the forums with lot`s of red items and it looked fantastic. Very bright and uplifting. I decided then, that before long I would have red on here and today`s the day. I liked the idea of red for danger as the title because with such fabulous creations you will be in danger of giving in to temptation. At least, I hope you will be tempted.
Wasn`t the weather just fabulous yesterday? Bright and sunny, blue sky and a warm breeze. Long may it last. I hope the weather was just as good where you are. Don`t you find that people are all much happier in general when it`s sunny. They smile more and tend to be generally cheerier. Mind you if the warm weather lasts there will be those that complain and say it`s too hot and we need rain. To those, I say, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! It`s summer and we want summer weather to stay.

Monday and work is just plain wrong
so bad they`ve even made a song.
I know it`s really about rainy days
that aren`t good combined with Monday`s.
I think it should apply to work too
I think agreement will be by more than a few.
For a week or more it`s been all rain,
storms and wind, it`s such a pain.
June has turned into April
the seasons change at will.
Now the sun has finally come out,
summer`s here is our shout.
So today in honour of the sun
I decided it`s time that red was done.
As a colour it`s bright and bold,
with red you never feel cold.
Warming and a reminder of heat
for uplifting it can`t be beat.
So many styles and shades
it`s popularity never fades.
So come join in and celebrate
if you want something, don`t wait.
Indulge yourself and others too
