Spectacular Sunday #Etsy

I wasn`t really sure what to do for today, then I looked through all the items I had favourited on Etsy. That decided me. I decided out of all the favourites I would pick out creations that, for me, are spectacular. With some it was the colour that drew me, others it was what they were and still others a combination of both. For me all of these items had the Wow factor. Where you see them and just sit and look marvelling at the creativity.
I know we are all different and have different tastes so these might not be the same for you but I hope you enjoy them anyway.
If you get the chance do have a browse through each of these shops as they all have so many more amazing crafts. This blog did take a while as I was busy browsing myself and marvelling at all that was on offer.
People`s creativity constantly amazes me every day. I look through the new listings of the teams I belong to and cannot believe the intricacy of some of the designs.
To be able to create like that must be wonderful.
By today I should already have a few new items made. Tomorrow I will be returning home to my hubby from my weekend away visiting family. There is no computer there, so although I miss it, it is a nice break and I get more crocheting done. I usually come home with several new items to photograph and list which is a bonus.
It is great to catch up with family and although you talk on the phone it isn`t the same at all. My daughters and grandchildrens ears will be burning as we chat about them, how they are doing and getting on etc. There will be lot`s of laughter and fun too, all good stuff.
The rhyme is one I wrote when suffering a bout of insomnia, a frequent occurrence. Like many people sometimes my brain won`t switch off despite all my best efforts with relaxation techniques and meditation.

Insomnia seems to be a modern affliction
and no this really isn`t fiction.
We fill our lives with radio waves
instead of the peace we really crave.
Many no longer see the sun come up
already at work and clutching a cup.
We are all so busy rushing here and there
never taking time to stop and stare.
Just for once, please slow down
no, don`t look at me and frown.
We all need to take a little time out
I know, about your work you`re devout.
Even so a little time away
is good for you and so is play.
Enjoyable work is very good
but do you step away when you should?
Take the time to smell the roses
speculate on the questions life poses.
Why not just sit and dream?
Yes, I know that can seem
as though you are being lazy
and workmates will think you crazy.
But it`s really good for you
and saves you getting in a stew.
A little peace is the order of the day.
So come on now, what do you say?
