Crafty Gifts Galore #Handmade #Folksy

Decided to do a selection of different crafts that would make great gifts or a wonderful acquisition for yourself. There are so many talented crafters on Folksy that in a year of blogging daily I have still barely scratched the surface. I am constantly finding shops that I have never seen before that have obviously been there a long while. Not to mention all the new shops that are appearing all the time. It`s great to see such a diverse range of crafts, by so many talented people, all in one place.
Until I started my own shop I used to think that crafting was a dying art, now I know that it is alive and well and thriving. This is a very good thing especially as so many people are getting fed up with mass produced products.
So YAY for us!
The verse was a bit of lighthearted fun on the forums about slow sales not so long back. I did omit the first one just in case it offended anyone although it was funny. There was a bit of to and fro as various people added a few comments. Each time I replied in verse, so below one was by Dave from The Nosuch Disco and the other two were added by me.

my tube is divine,
i’m trying for a sale,
to no real avail,
i hope it comes fast
not sure i can last

Your rhyme is so funny
you are quite the hunny.
I`m sure your tube`s great
but I think that I`ll wait
for the sales fairy to visit me
she`ll come soon, just wait and see.
She`s going to breeze through my shop
with a dainty skip and a hop.
She`ll be having a spree
emptying my shop for me!

The shoppers are coming in their droves
we`ll be needing fishes and loaves.
They are going to empty each shop
really catching us all on the hop.
It`s coming so don`t be caught
out else you`ll feel so fraught.
Then be madly making all again
wondering if you`ll stay sane,
We all just really have to believe
that the sales fairy has something up her sleeve
What is it you ask? I think it`s cash
for the coming manic dash
to buy pressies before it`s too late
cos they`re all late starters out of the gate!
