October Owls #FolksyFriday

Have decided to do my Folksy Friday on the October Owls listing club. There are so many gorgeous creations being listed that i think i may have to start doing more. Just had a quick flick through and I know that I am going to have a hard job choosing what to put on here.
It was a very difficult task today. I was tempted to keep adding but where do you stop?
It was so chilly yesterday morning, the temperature had dropped another 10 degrees, not funny at all. It had been windy during the week but yestrday the wind had a real bite to it, a bit of a shock to the system I must say.
Was busy doing errands and food shopping yesterday and didn`t get much crocheting done. But that`s okay because I will get loads done at the weekend. I shall be busy making while we are chatting and catching up on all the news. It will just be me going a hubby is working and to be honest I think he would be fed up with us talking a mile a minute anyway.
I have been busy preparing blogs in advance too so there will still be something for you to see.
Also don`t forget that tomorrows blog will be all about a giveaway I am doing. All you need to do is leave a comment and follow the blog if you don`t already, easy.

The other night I saw a shooting star
and I wondered just how far
from the earth it was away.
Will it come by another day?
That was the first I`ve ever seen.
Usually someone points and I`ve been
looking at a different bit of sky
and I miss it flying by.
So I saw a little bit of magic
thaty was so nearly tragic.
A blink, a turn or a glance
and I`d have been having a tantrum dance.
Instead I had a wish when I saw
it as I stepped out the door.
We all need magic in our life,
to help combat all the strife.
Sometimes at the moon I gaze,
so still, almost in a daze.
I gain perspective staring at the night sky
at so many stars twinkling up on high.
There`s magic there in the night
if only in that glorious sight!
