Halloween Goodies #Handmade #Folksy

Halloween is creeping closer so I think it`s time for another Halloween blog. Do you take part in Halloween? Do you have little ones, or bigger ones who like to join the fun? Maybe you just like to see the children all dressed up in their costumes, some shy and others braver, hopefully trick or treating.
I have grandchildren and they go around to all those they know, dressed in all their finery, looking suitable spooky or ghoulish. naturally our house is one of the stops. They usually go in a group with their friends and friends parents too, as well as their own parents. All good light hearted fun. I put a battery operated pumpkin in my window so the local people know I am taking part again. Once I have run out of goodies I remove the pumpkin and there are no more knocks at the door. I think it`s a great system.
If you want to get your exclusive goodies on-line then it`s time to think about ordering them, whether it`s decorations for the house, cards, or other spooky additions.
What did I do yesterday.......? Went to work all day but of course I have to have my crochet fix, so a little before leaving, more at lunchtime and a few hours in the evening to keep the new creations coming. I`ve actually been managing to get a few more things listed on the website, some new hats and scarves. I`ve also been adjusting prices and including the P&P to make it easier.
So all in all I am quite pleased with myself. Once I get the visit to the taxman over I shall be able to concentrate more on doing my CRAFTfest Stall. Adding descriptions and more goodies. Yay!!

When you venture out on Halloween
there are strange sights to be seen.
Do you dress up as ghost or ghoul
do it right, don`t look a fool.
Vampires and monsters dripping with blood,
hope that doesn`t turn into a flood.
Witches cackling, broom in hand,
where, I wonder, will they land.
Spiders, with their legs so hairy,
now that`s what I call scary.
Wizards so flamboyant and maybe a warlock
where next will they flock?
Little ones looking so cute
hoping to gain some loot.
They always ask, trick or treat
giving out sweets can`t be beat.
Why would i want a trick?
You never know what they might flick.
I think it`s all such very good fun,
lot`s of happy kids when the night is done!
