Moonbeams #Handmade #Folksy.

Unsure what do do today I was looking through titles of past blogs and nothing came to me. I kept looking further and further back until inspiration struck. I had done stars before but never the moon, so I rushed off to put moon into the search on Folksy and came up with quite a few delectable creations.
I don`t know about you but I find the moon utterly fascinating. I love seeing the new moon and often just stand outside and gaze at it. Sometimes it hangs there so big that you almost feel as though you could reach out and touch it. It always seems to me that the full moon soon appears and then disappears far too quickly. It`s amazing how many people are affected by the moon. It seems to affect a lot of people`s sleep patterns as well as their moods. Then of course it affects the tides too. I could spout on for ages about the moon but I will stop there else it will get boring.
I have as usual been busy creating more new things. The coasters are finished now and look very festive. One scarf is done and another different one is under way, with more ideas in the pipeline. I really need to get off this red and white kick I`m on otherwise I`ll end up having a whole page of nothing but red and white. Well maybe not, I will list other things in between for variety.

I saw the half moon so big and bright
it glowed with unearthly light.
So big I could see the shadows on there,
it just made me stand and stare.
I love to see the waxing moon,
trouble is it starts waning too soon.
The wind was strong and blowing,
the moon sat so still, glowing.
Sometimes it`s there before it`s dark,
faintly glowing for a lark.
Other times as the day lightens,
it`s still there till the sun brightens.
In the first light of dawn
the moon is fading with the morn.
It vanishes in the morning light
as the sun comes up, so bright
that it vanquishes the night
and the moon disappears from sight.
It hasn`t gone, it`s just hidden
and stays away until it is bidden
to return to the world once more
to send it`s light along the shore.
Walking in the moonlight is fun
only possible once the day is done!
