#Showcase Spectacular. #Handmade #Folksy

I decided to have a look through the forums and add items here that stood out from the others. I looked through shops and again added what, for me, stood out. It is of course personal taste and many of the things here might not appeal to you personally. All the shops do of course have many more items for your perusal. It`s only a short hop so why not have a browse.
Some of theses wonderful crafts attracted me because they were different and others just because they seemed to have a certain something. It`s hard to define what that certain somethinmg is, but for me they all have it.
I am doing this blog early because I am spending time with my daughter and her fiance before they head off to Switzerland for 6 months on Monday. We will all miss them very much of course, but it`s an amazing opportunity for them both. Then of course they are getting married next February so we all have that to look forward to as well. Naturally we have to go and visit them in Switzerland while they are there. Tough job, but someone`s got to do it!
I bet you are all feeling really sorry for me now. Tee Hee. Not amusing?? Well I think it is.
I`ll tell you all about the get together in tomorrow`s blog. Didn`t I mention that? I did in yesterday`s blog. We had a big family get together last night, can`t tell you about it yet as this was done in advance on Friday night. You`ll just have to come back and see tomorrow`s blog.

Today a spectacular showcase
won`t find egg on my face.
Everything here is of course my choice
but you too, if you like, can have a voice.
Just tell me what you`d like in style,
or maybe some colours for a while.
When you`re knocking on a bit like me
the choices are different you see.
youngsters go for different things
I go for anything that really zings.
Does that sound strangely weird to you?
Honest, no sniffing, I don`t use glue!
Put it down to my eccentric state
looniness must be my true fate.
Oh no, I`m waffling again
some think I`m not quite sane.
I must be mad to work so hard,
I don`t even qualify as a bard.
Anyway, my daughters going
they`ll be off tomorrow sowing,
the seeds of their future together
and probably enjoying better weather.
A beginning, a start of something new,
the possibilities are endless too.
Excitement lurks behind every bush,
something might happen now, with a whoosh.
They will be far from home it`s true,
but they won`t be feeling blue.
They`ll be looking forward, don`t you know
the excitement giving them a warm glow.
Safe together in love`s cocoon,
not goodbye, but see you soon!
