#ART on Folksy Friday

I haven`t put art on here for a while. I think it`s time Folksy art appeared on here once more. I decided after looking through the new listings on Folksy. There were so many wonderful pieces of art just leaping out at me that I decided the art was calling. A bit fanciful I know but sometimes that is just how the mood takes me.
I very often don`t decide the blogs direction it decides for me, kind of takes on a life of it`s own. Oh dear, now that does make me sound strange! I am not really strange, maybe a little bit eccentric at times. Ooops, I can almost see my younger daughter raising her eyebrow at me. I confess then, I can be very eccentric occasionally, but the rest of the time I do pass for normal. Sort of!

The trials and tribulations of my new bathroom being put in!

The new toilet is sitting in it`s place
it`s working too, so no longer a race
to get to the loo downstairs first
praying that you just won`t burst.
The new sink, now there`s a thing
it wasn`t making hubby`s heart sing.
A different shape, he needs more tiles
oh dear me he`s lost his smiles.
Then the pipe`s not long enough
for that too he needs more stuff.
Pipes are lengthened, now they reach
but the wrong size trap will cause a breach.
Off he went to the plumbers shop again
I`m not sure if he`ll stay sane.
The toilet gave him all sorts of trouble
especially when he watched a leak bubble.
But that got sorted out at last
now it works well and fast.
I`m dreading the bath coming out
what sort of rules will that flout?
Poor old hubby he`s been getting stressed
maybe having it done would ahve been best.
But he`s such a perfectionist you see
no one else could do the job as well as he.
Never mind it will be good when it`s done
and I will say, NEVER, EVER AGAIN!
