Yesterday I had to go television shopping as our poor old TV was on it`s last legs. We decided that would be our Christmas present to ourselves.
First it was a post office trip with a parcel then off round the shops. We ended up with a bargain that was £150.00 off, 42 inch HD 3D and Freeview. I hoped it might hoover as well but no such luck. At least it was easy to set up as once we had plugged everything in and switched it on it did everything else itself. We just had a cuppa and watched as it discovered where we were and then set up the channels very quickly. Easy Peasy, just the way I like it.

Short days and long dark nights
offset by twinkling fairy lights.
Christmas is coming with the glitter
not to mention accompanying litter.
People eating as they walk
pausing for a moment to talk
the rubbish falls to the ground,
adding to that already around.
Oblivious they hurry on
now that the food is gone.
It`s a busy time of year
as we get into a rushing gear.
So much to do, to get, to buy
it`s enough to make you sigh.
Soon it will all be done,
you can relax and have fun!!
