Well the grandchildren came by yesterday to open their advent calenders. They all have one at our house as well as their own, it`s something of a tradition now.
Yesterday too I bought some luxury mincemeat and am going to make some little parcels with filo pastry, instead of traditional mince pies. I will make them sometime this week and if they turn out well I will be making them again on Christmas Eve as part of my Christmas baking.
