I haven`t done a paper blog before mainly because I didn`t think I would be able to find much of a variety. I`m delighted that I was wrong. Hope you enjoy my choices today.
Yesterday was so cold and got colder as the day wore on. The wind got up and had a real bite to it, you could almost feel the promised snow in the air. It hadn`t hit us yet when I was writing this blog, so fingers crossed it misses us although it seems unlikely.
What else did I do? A load of housework, beds, hoovering, washing, dusting ... I`m sure you get the picture. Then in the afternoon I went with my older brother to visit my younger brother in hospital after having lunch with my younger daughter and son in law. I also managed to squeeze in some needle felting. I`ve been working on a cottage and so far am pleased with the way it`s turning out. As long it stitches together well, I`ll be happy.

A weather warning, snow on the way,
it will reach us late on Sunday.
It`s supposed to be a whiteout
that will make the kids all shout.
Do we really need it all again?
I suppose it`s better than the rain.
Not good for those off to work
but a snow day`s a good way to shirk.
Will it be heavy or light?
Always looks a pretty sight.
It`s back to wrapping up in scarves
no good doing things by halves.
On with the gloves and hat
we`ll be needing all of that.
Is this winters last flurry
before it`s set to scurry
off to make way for spring?
I hope so, it`ll be a good thing!!
