Be sure to help the cook who is busy slaving away over the hot stove while you all have fun. Nothing worse than being stuck in the kitchen all day while everyone else has fun. A little help goes a long way.

It`s finally here at last
all the angst in the past.
Paper strewn far and wide
nowhere for a pressie to hide.
Cooking smells in the air
lot`s of yummy Christmas fayre.
Children are all busy at play
enough toys to keep them busy all day.
Now it`s time for a glass of wine
everything`s coming along just fine.
A minor disaster, don`t be sorry
Christmas day is no time for worry.
Just allow the whole day to flow
and stay in a festive glow.
Look around at your leisure
imprinting memories to treasure.
Today`s mishaps are tomorrows story
in which the family will glory
in retelling in future years
with many laughter tears.
