Was a job to think up a variety of different themes all at once but heroically I have managed it. Tee hee.
Anyway I`m digressing already and I`ve barely begun.
Today I thought we`d have a festive taster from Folksy. I went looking for ideas and came across a Christmas thread on the forums. Someone started it to show off their Christmas listings and it`s grown, well actually it seems to keep growing. I had forgotten about it so hadn`t added any more of mine, just a few at the start.
All the crafts on there looked so festive that I thought why not put some on here for you all to see. After all it is creeping closer at a great rate, Christmas that is.
Winter seems to have leapt in with a vengeance, it`s been so cold especially at night and in the mornings. Not too bad in the day if the sun is out but you still definitely need a jacket. Brrr. Wouldn`t surprise me at all if we started getting frosts soon. Even more Brrrrr.
Still it is quite nice, despite the cold, to see sparkly frosty mornings.

Christmas comes but once a year
but doesn`t always bring good cheer.
Bah humbug is said by some
the festivities leave them numb.
I know it`s a lot of work
and there`s always extra to lurk,
just when you think it`s all done,
then you find another one.
Another gift that you forgot to buy,
lights that don`t work, to make you sigh.
But in the end it comes together
and we always manage to weather
everything the season throws at us
getting on with it without a fuss.
Then it`s time to get festive
before the natives all get restive.
But through it all it`s a cheery season
as if we really needed a reason
to be happy making memories to treasure
that we can recall at our leisure!!
