Yesterday I was at work. As usual we were busy non stop and the day just whizzed past. Before work, at lunchtime and in the evening, I was busy finishing some mittens for an order. I made a variety in pink so the lady could choose the ones she wanted. I had a dark pink and a pale pink then a mix of the two colours, one with mainly dark and one with mainly light. The mittens are so soft, thick and warm that I am going to make myself a pair for the winter too.
The poncho has taken a bit of a backseat for a couple of days while I got them done, but work on it will soon resume, probably tomorrow. The chunky knitting is also on hold for the minute too. There are so many ideas that keep flooding into my brain and not enough time to make them all. Still I will get round to them all eventually.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY and have FUN!!!
What a HOOT it is today,
seeing all the owls at play.
In nature they fly by night,
a barely visible sight.
Stealthily, they fly through the air,
seemingly without a care.
Silently hunting for their prey
then happily sleeping by day.
So cute and fluffy they look,
they are great in my book.
They say that owls are wise,
they need to be to gain their prize.
They catch a cute little mouse
and take it back to their house.
Or do they eat it straight away
or maybe save it for another day.
Anyway, as usual I do digress,
got off the subject I confess.
Well just a very little I suppose,
it was going to be owl crafts, this prose.
Never mind, cos I`m all done,
you just look and have fun!!
