#Gallery of Art #Handmade #Folksy.

Today we are going to have an art display. We haven`t had any for a little while so I thought it would make a nice change. Not sure yet what sort I will find, so it will be a voyage of discovery for all of us. Folksy has such a great diversity of art available from small pictures to large and from painting to prints and mixed media. I have even been tempted to put some brooches I have seen on here as art, because they are so well done and are little pictures in themselves. I have seen small landscapes embroidered onto brooches, amazing.
Very often I see things listed on Folksy, especially supplies and think Hmmm.... now what could I do with that. Then real life kicks in and I know that at the moment there is no spare time at all. Haven`t even had time lately for painting, although the urge to paint once more is returning.

We haven`t had any art here for a while
so I hope these pictures will make you smile.
These artists have done us proud,
some so quiet and some so loud.
Some make you stare and really think
others make you smile and blink.
Art you love is good for you
it can lift a mood once blue.
A picture can make you laugh or cry,
feel melancholy or happy and make you sigh.
Sigh in a way that really feels good
art should stir and uplift, yes it should.
Painting of course is even better still
it takes you away, despite your will.
It holds and enthralls in a wonderful way
a finished painting can make your whole day.
Now I really want to paint once more
but I`m waiting, for what I`m not sure.
When the time is right it will all flow
and I`ll be lost in an artistic glow.
I have an idea what I want to do
and soon I`ll be painting once more for You!!
