I`d even had a glass of wine, not something I usually indulge in and certainly not before I`ve done this blog.
I went on the train to Peterborough, where my daughter picked me up after driving from London. We headed to Boston to visit my Aunt who has been unwell after a fall and in lot`s of pain from a fractured spine bless her. From the same fall, her husband, my Uncle was also injured and is still in hospital.
Luckily they have lot`s of family all close by who are taking great care of them between them all.
It was great to see them and to catch up with one of my cousins and her hubby and son. I tell you though, these kids have all got to stop growing up so fast, it `s enough to make you feel old.
Well it would be if I was grown up myself. LOL!!

Today I really think it`s time
for us to have some luscious lime.
Makes me think of a summers day
watching all the children play.
Long cool drink at the ready
just taking it nice and steady.
In the distance a heat haze
on those wonderful balmy days.
For now though it`s cold and dank
weather that`s awful, pretty rank.
Grey skies and endless rain
enough to drive us all insane.
Good job we have colour galore
to brighten our lives once more!!
