So I thought I would see what I could find with owls and here we are, an Outstanding Owl collection.
Yesterday was a visit to the city to collect my grandsons present for his birthday at the weekend. While there I had coffee and then lunch later with a good friend. It took a few hours, enjoyable hours and a lot of chatting.
I do get a bit concerned about doing too much of the talking. It is possible, although I know you will find that hard to believe.

Have to say, owls are very cute
and I`ve heard they are quite a hoot.
They have a look of surprise
and are known for being very wise.
They often hunt by night
with their binocular sight.
Known as a solitary bunch
sitting with a seeming hunch
they are birds of prey
sleeping mostly by day.
Feathers made for silent flight
swooping down from a height.
Talons outstretched sharp and long
beak ready, hooked and strong.
Hunting mostly at dusk and dawn
full and ready to sleep by morn!!
