Now what did I do yesterday? Had a pretty quiet day really. I didn`t do anything for New Year as my hubby was working all night, which also meant he was sleeping most of the day. I did however manage to get a load of photos taken, which I was very pleased about. I also did some computer work and enjoyed some needle felting. Later in the afternoon we had a visit from my daughter, son in law and the youngest two grandchildren, Was lovely to see them for a while.
I didn`t make any resolutions but then I gave them up a few years back. I did however decide that this year, however much work it takes, I am going to have my best year yet business wise. Wish me luck?

Oh for leaves of green
that could be easily seen.
I would give almost anything
to feel the warmth of spring.
Would love to have a gentle breeze
not a wind that makes you freeze.
Wouldn`t mind a soft spring rain
instead of this icy pounding again.
I`d even quite like to see some snow
at least it gives us a happy glow.
It sparkles in the sun light
makes everywhere seem bright.
Instead we have another gale
made worse by occasional hail.
A wind that picks up heavy things
flies them like they`ve got wings.
I wish I could wave winter goodbye
it really makes me want to sigh!!
