Yesterday I was at work, busy as always. Then my younger daughter popped in for a couple of hours to visit.
I have been making some gorgeous shrugs, the second almost finished now and a third started. The yarn is gorgeous, so soft and warm. Now I just need to fins a willing model in daylight hours. Wish me luck.
Today both of my daughters are running a half marathon to raise money for charity. They have been training hard in all weathers to be ready and I wish them lot`s of luck and dry weather.
I shall be looking after the youngest two grandchildren and we`ll be busy doing some crafting, making jigsaws and maybe even a bit of baking.

I sit here waiting for the dawn
should be spectacular this morn.
A crisp white frost on the ground
looks like snow all around.
An early sky turning blue
I`m stuck to this chair like glue.
Here it comes the first hint of red
as I yawn, glad I`m not still in bed.
I love to see nature`s early show
watching the morning start and glow.
Here they come the deeper shades
such a shame all this fades.
Wow, a luminous vapour trail
as an aeroplane sets sail
on a new adventure far away
where will they all go today?
It`s rising now, will soon appear
night has fled, never fear.
The display comes and brings a smile
as I continue to watch for a while!!
