I cannot believe the stunning display Autumn has produced this year, the colours are so vivid. It`s always the sight of the reds that draw me the most, so many different shades and mixed with gold, they are stunning. Sadly the trees are shedding very fast, much faster than last year and the sharp drop in temperature will speed it up even more.
I don`t like the cold but the sight of frost sparkling in the morning sun always makes me smile and lifts my spirit. Again it`s the colours in those diamond like sparkles that hold my attention.
Where would we be without colour?

when I look they`re all around.
So many different shapes and hues
all shouting out their clues.
They`re saying Autumn is here
winter`s close behind I fear.
But first a glorious carpet of leaves
as nature changes and slowly weaves
her magic, bringing another season
to celebrate, as if we need a reason.
The colourful look of orange and yellow
their beauty as the year begins to mellow
into the much cooler months to come
when fingers and toes will turn numb.
It`s the reds now that are so bright,
so many shades, a glorious sight.
Whether on the ground or tree
they`re a magnificent sight to see.
