A new love is especially important to be thinking gift because it says you care and took the time and trouble to show it. If it`s a relationship of several years then it`s important that your gift and card says `you are still the most important person in the world to me`.
I think sometimes people get so caught up in the dramas of life that they forget the important things, like spending time with loved ones. And not just time, but really seeing and listening to them, that`s important too.
It`s not what you spend, but what you do. You could scribble `I love you` on a piece of card and pick a flower from the garden, what`s important is that you made the effort.
In our time poor lives we often forget to say those important little words, mainly because we have so little time together for any words.
So today, stop and really see your loved one, pay them a compliment from the heart and most of all give them a hug. Then watch the face light up with happiness, such little things to make such a big difference.
Anyway I kind of got off the subject there. What I was going to say was, that todays wonderful goodies, are from the Folksy site. Although we have had hearts and flowers blogs with some valentine things, this blog today is all Valentine creations.
By the time you read this I shall be either preparing to go or already at Centre Parcs with my daughters and my younger daughters mother in law to be. I have to say here that she and I have become good friends and can chat about pretty much anything.... and do. Yeah, yeah, I know, I talk to anyone and everyone. But seriously, if she picked her fiance for the in laws alone, she did a brilliant job. When you know them you can see why he is such a lovely chap too.
Anyway, there I go again, getting off the subject. What I was going to say is that I shall be busy having fun, hopefully and hope you are all having a great Sunday too.
