Been having a lovely week spending time with the grandchildren and now the week is more half over. It is just going much too fast, like my life in general I think. Too much to do and too little time. Too many things I want to make and only one pair of hands. I did get some painting done today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was quite pleased with the pictures I did too. Only quite, you notice! There is always something I`m not quite happy with. Mainly it`s the photo`s I take, they never seem to come out as well as I expect. Never mind I will just keep practising.

Woke up yesterday morning with a puffy eye,
stared in the mirror, gave a big sigh,
Decided it wasn`t a very good look,
so off to the doctors myself I took.
Your eyes, she decided, cos they looked sore,
a few checks and I was off out the door.
I went home and painted a flower
till I was squinting and had a glower.
Decided to do some work on here,
that was a challenge too, oh dear.
last night we went to a Tapas restaurant
I ate too much, more than I could want.
The food was so nice, tasty and yummy,
put far too much into my tummy.
Then it was back for dessert and cake
singing Happy Birthday, a noise we did make.
I think they enjoyed their birthday fun
then it was home once it was done.
Family get togethers are just the best
although for some its more of a test.
For me a family together`s a wonderful sight
it always makes for a brilliant night!
