This seemed quite fitting after I actually saw signs of spring. Yesterday I was saying there don`t seem to be any or very few and today they seemed to be everywhere.
I took my grandsons out on the bus to visit a friend in a village. On the way there were loads of crocuses, we saw snowdrops and even a few daffodils, all of which gave me hope that one day soon it will appear.
We took welly boots and I had a change of clothes for the boys in case. We went to the park that seemed to have sprouted mini ponds all over the place and the many ponds that were already inside small copses had grown significantly.
We went to feed the ducks living in a much larger pond and they greeted us very noisily much to the boys delight.
We had a great time.

ENJOY!!!
We visited the countryside
going on a lengthy bus ride.
We rode past many a field
that won`t have anything to yield
because they are all so soggy
the mud making them very boggy.
A trickling brook that was a sliver
of water, has become a bigger river.
Puddles have turned into small ponds
and ponds are becoming lakes with fronds.
All we need is a lengthy dry spell
and all once more, may become well.
We`ve had enough wet weather for a while,
some much needed sun will make us smile!!
