Sunny Yellow #Etsy

We did have some sunshine yesterday after a grey wet start but I decided I needed some more brightness today, so I went for a lovely sunny yellow. Reminiscent of summer sunshine.

Yesterday after much learning I finally mastered the art of stitching together pages for a note book. I had very many attempts and equally as many pulling out the tread and starting again times.
I don`t know about you but when I decide to learn something new it`s because I like the look of it and want to have a go myself. So it`s the challenge of it and the more tricky and different from what I already do the more of a challenge it is.
I`m also stubborn and don`t like to be beaten. I was really thrilled though when I finally did it and neat enough that it looked something.
I didn`t get too much time at it though as it was my grandsons 5th birthday. In the coming days though I will be doing more.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

If summer is hot and dry
then all we want to do is sigh.
In the winter we want the sun
and dream of outdoor fun.
We dream of cosy nights in
seems that we just can`t win.
When the cosy nights are here
it`s the cold we really fear.
When we have a winter chill
it really doesn`t seem to thrill.
It seems we are topsy turvy folk
and our weather is always a joke!!

  3. Love all that bright yellow. Seems like forever since we have seen the sun. Great poem! So true that we want what we don't have!
