January Blues #Etsy

I was looking for inspiration and thinking how many people get the blues in January. It`s the middle of winter, the Christmas and New Year excitement is over, many people are short on cash and it`s usually cold. Well it is here in the UK, not to mention mainly grey skies and lot`s of rain. With all that it`s not really surprising that many people feel low.
What we need is more daylight, blue skies and sunshine and happy upbeat people. The daylight bit is improving, slowly I know, but still getting a bit lighter day by day, so that`s good. Blue skies and sunshine? Can`t help with that, we take what we are given, but I have got lot`s of blue to remind you of blue skies. Does that help?
Happy upbeat people? Well sometimes they can be annoying if they are too over the top. I am mostly positive and happy but there are times when I get low too, it`s part of life and human nature. As with everything it will pass.

Being upbeat, my fingers aren`t so blue/purple, despite covering two more notebooks. Still haven`t settled on a formula, it`s like a puzzle at the minute and I love a challenge.

Soon the smile becomes some laughter
and you know you`ll look back after
and say it wasn`t so bad after all
I didn`t stumble and I didn`t fall
I stayed positive, held my head high
even if inwardly there was the odd sigh!!
