Zingy #Etsy

I spotted this treasury by Pat of shop: The Whistling Man and thought how lovely it was, so cheerful and bright. It was probably the brightness after a very dull grey day on Saturday.
Initially it was the cheerfulness that drew me and then I looked closer and thought what wonderful gifts they would make. So that was it, decision made to bring all these goodies here for you to see.

After a sleepless night
I really looked a fright.
So busy tossing and turning
feeling chilly, then burning.
Waking up then dozing off
waking again to have a cough.
A sip of water, feeling joints ache
why can`t I sleep for goodness sake.
Then as the sky is touched by dawn
at last I feel sleepy and yawn.
Very annoying these sleep blips
keep grabbing the glass for sips
then of course that familiar cue
can`t sleep till you`ve been to the loo.
Then it`s getting up time way too soon
you just really want to sleep till noon!!
