I am Sailing! #Folksy

Not really sure why I went for this theme, could be the beach theme on the front page of Folksy or it could be my holiday that is looming ever closer. Less than a week away to be precise.
I was thinking about pivotal moments again and as far as holidays were concerned our 25th wedding anniversary was one, in a way. We decided to treat ourselves to a cruise to celebrate such a landmark. I`ve always hated flying, it made me feel so claustrophobic being trapped in a tin can. I just felt I wanted to open a door or window, apparently that is frowned upon.
So we saved hard, chose our cruise and off we went. We had such a wonderful time, starting with the no hassle or wait check in after out bags were taken away, to the great company and wonderful service. We came away deciding it was the way to go in the future.
At that my point my husband confessed that he didn`t like flying either. Hmmm.
We don`t go every year, but most years we do. We don`t have weekends away or other holidays but we happily go without that for the one we really want.
This year it is the Baltics cruise. We get two days in Petersburg to see the sights so I`m hoping it will be good weather for us. Fingers crossed.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

It`s great fun to set sail
lot`s of fresh air, without fail.
Sometimes calm and occasionally not
sometimes chilly and more often hot.
No time at all to sit and brood
mountains of very delicious food.
So much to do on board
no time at all to be bored.
Cinemas and shops, theatres too
all with an endless fascinating view.
Tutorials for those that want to learn
a gym for those that want to feel the burn.
Sunbeds for soaking up the rays,
every night shows and plays.
Exercise with early morning walks
or go listen to fascinating talks.
Swimming pools all over the place
lots of smiles on every face.
For us it`s the way to go
getting into the sailing flow!!
