So with that in mind I decided to do a Garden blog for today. I went and had a look on Folksy and was delighted to see a section for gardeners gifts. I did have a look but it wasn`t what I wanted. Well some were but some choices seemed rather odd but maybe that`s just me.
Yesterday I took some crocheting to do in my lunch hour at work and while I crocheted I was trying to decide what my next project would be. I have decided to write some more patterns but can`t decide whether to do one for a hat next or a Scoodie. I expect most of you have seen Scoodies. When I first got the idea and made a hood with a scarf attached I thought it was a completely new idea but a few months on I saw others. In the main they were knitted while mine were all crocheted but even so it wasn`t quite as novel as I thought. I had called mine a Hood and Scarf combo but when I saw some called Scoodie`s I thought it was a great name. So I am trying to decide which to go for, beanie style hat, maybe a beret or the Scoodie. Hmmm.....
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!
I walked to work setting quite a pace
lost in thought, the sun on my face.
Cars were very thin on the ground
which was nice, not too much sound.
Made it easier to hear the birds sing
nice to feel the warmth of spring.
The birds are being put to the test
finding scraps to build their nest.
Easier now to search for food
soon it will be for their brood
of chicks sitting with open beak
then they will have much to seek.
The earth is getting into the spring flow
with everything just starting to grow.
Soon lawn mower sounds will fill the air
for months that sound has been rare.
Garden furniture now sees the light of day
as we all hope the weather is here to stay!!
