Yesterday morning I viewed the front page of Folksy and liked what was on display. It was named Time for Tea which I thought was nice. I needed more than what was on offer and they weren`t all items I wanted to use, as those people had had a turn in the spotlight so it seemed fairer for others to take a turn. Although I did decide to use a couple that were on display there as they had rather taken my fancy.
Yesterday I was up a bit late and was behind from then on, or so it seemed. I did actually manage to achieve quite a lot when I looked back over the day.
My 4 year old grandson and I had a visit to the shops, a ride in the car there and a bus ride home. Another crafter and friend had told me about a shop that rents out shelves to display your wares, so I decided to see if I could find it.
I had a word with the owner and decided I would give it a try, nothing ventured nothing gained. That finished off our little sojourn to the shops and we headed home. A parcel was being delivered at `around midday` so I wanted to make sure I was there an hour before as well as after just in case. I needn`t have worried it was there on the dot of 12.00, I was very impressed. The company`s name? Fed Ex! That was definitely a first, something delivered exactly when they said it would be.
Oh.... did you want to know what it was? Much to our surprise it was a Regency Hamper, not something either of us had ordered, or likely to order come to that. Hubby noticed the `Perishables, Refrigerate at once` sign. So we opened it and discovered it was indeed for us. Part of an offer on a holiday we had booked and forgotten about. The perks, not the holiday. That`s not till June and I`m looking forward to that.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!
Everyone loves a tea time treat
with lots of good things to eat.
Can`t beat a nice cup of tea,
so very British you see.
What is your poison as they say?
Breakfast, Darjeeling or Earl Grey.
Or maybe you prefer a variety of fruit,
or a herbal one, would that suit?
So many different types to drink,
it can really make you stop and think.
Then of course we also have green,
amazing the varieties to be seen.
Which ever tea you like best
always seems better than the rest.
It is a cure for all ills
and somehow it always fills
that simple need in every way
doing a perfect job every day!!
