D is for.... #FolksyFriday

Still going with the alphabet theme and onto D today. I haven`t got bored with it yet so that`s always a bonus especially as we are only 4 letters in, including today`s.
Today of course is Folksy Friday day and all the crafts are from Folksy. Stating the obvious I know.
Can`t believe that Christmas is so close. I think I have gone into denial now because it`s crept up so fast. Eeeek!
As yet I have no idea what D will be for. Although having spent a few hours at the hospital for an appointment for my hubby I was getting him to think about things with the letter D. Have to say they went from the sublime to the ridiculous, I think it`s a boy thing to think up daft ideas, but I did get a few usable ones, I hope.
Here we go. D is for Dandelion, Dragon, Dice, Doll, Dolphin and Dinosaur. Was delighted with the creations I found and hope you are too and enjoy having a browse.
Today is of course the 21.12.12. The supposed end of the world date. The youngsters are still not entirely sure about it. I was talking again with my 13 yr old grandson about it the other night. Despite all the discussions we have had I think he is still a bit concerned which is a shame. The biggest shame is the way the media portray it all as doom and gloom, natural I suppose, after all it`s horror stories that have people buying papers and watching TV programmes. They should have more sense though.

I found creations just for you
though at first I didn`t have a clue.
Dragons now, them I didn`t mind,
fun and cute I think you`ll find.
Dandelions are beautiful and bright
such a very cheery sight.
Dolphins, I didn`t hold out much hope
but hey, I found enough to cope.
The Dice was quite a surprise
and they were quite a prize.
Dolls now, lot`s of those
but quite a question they did pose.
All actual dolls or variety there too
I went for variety especially for you.
Dinosaurs, last but not least
for them there was quite a feast.
But now at last I have done
now go browse and have fun!!
