Alphabet Fun #Folksy

It came to me yesterday that I could do a series of blogs on the Alphabet. I`m not even sure that I can find crafts with every letter but I will give it a go and see what happens. There is of course the possibilty that some letters will be left out.
Going along with this brainwave.... maybe... I shall start with A. A is for apple, apricot, art, animals, angels and avocado. This may seem rather a strange mixture of items to put together and I agree it is. When I was trying to think of things beginning with A as usual my mind went blank. Then I came up with 5 but I wanted 6 and do you think I could come up with something else? Nope. So I asked my 13 year old grandson who had popped round to visit. He came up with avocado and as I still couldn`t think of anything I went with it.
Typically as soon as I had filled the slots I could think of more. Daft isn`t it?
Yesterday I was busy doing up parcels for the Post Office and took them along with all my cards to post. Then it was shopping for food and really that`s about it apart from computer work and cooking etc. Not a very exciting day apart from popping in to see my daughter and youngest two grandchildren.
Today though I am hoping to go into the city and get my haircut, but we`ll see.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Today I`m beginning the Alphabet
but it`s hardly started yet.
The first letter was a start
except my brain wouldn`t part
with a single good idea.
There might have been nothing here.
Slowly and painfully I dragged it out.
Now, I ask, what is that all about?
Art was easy, lot`s of that.
But fruit, isn`t that old hat?
But no, it`s all fresh and new
was just me didn`t have a clue.
Some of it was the colour shade,
though everything is handmade.
Animals now, there were many
almost, could be said, ten a penny.
Angels were easy, that time of year,
so plenty with the Christmas gear.
Avocado clearly not so hot
because there really weren`t alot.
I did get there at last,
have to say, it wasn`t fast!!!
