Rocket Spectacular #Folksy

I thought I had done a November Rockets blog this month but I clearly haven`t. For those that don`t know, November Rockets is the daily listing club on Folksy, a new name is chosen each month by the participants.
Several names are offered and those that want to take part can suggest names. The name that gets the most votes is the new listing club name.
There have been many amazing listings each day that are quickly getting snapped up as gifts by discerning buyers. With Christmas so close as well as other gifts to get I`m not surprised so many are disappearing so fast.
Must admit that I succumbed to some Christmas tree earrings, they looked so festive and pretty. I think they are popular as none that Maxine, the creator, has listed have managed to stay there very long. Mind you at that price it`s not surprising. There is a pair at the bottom, if they are still there by the time you read this.
Do have a browse through the shops to see many more wonderful treasures.
Yesterday I was rushing around, yes I know that`s so different for me. This was more so than usual. I had a deadline of 2.00 p.m and had a lot to get through, which I am delighted to say that I did. The house is clean from top to bottom and I took a whole load of photographs, many were photos for things already listed that desperately need better pics. I am trying....
Anyway, the deadline was so that I was ready when my daughtewr and son in law picked me up so I could go to the Remembrance Sunday parade and church service that my 6 year old grandson was taking part in. He is a Beaver and looked very smart in his uniform marching along with his friends in the middle of the parade. An lovely afternoon.
The first verse was one I made up yesterday morning and put on facebook.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Remember, remember, don`t forget
much time has passed and yet
for many it`s still very near
remembering those they held dear.
We need to learn from the past
to find worldwide peace that will last.
Hatred and bigotry and all that is wrong
needs to sing the last swansong,
to sink through the waters of the past
to find a real worldwide peace at last!!

I went to the Remembrance parade
a memory that will never fade.
My grandson got into his stride
as we all looked on with great pride.
The little ones don`t understand
about the soldiers dying for our land.
One day they will all know
of the sacrifice, so we can grow
and make wars a memory of the past
and finally all have peace at last!!
