Festive Holly #FolksyFriday

I kind of half decided this theme earlier in the week when I did a Holly & Ivy blog. I liked what I found on that site and thought I would see what I could find on Folksy. As you can see there were some fabulous finds and of course many more than I could fit in here.
Holly, especially with it`s distinctive red berries always makes me feel so festive. Somehow it gives everywhere a festive look. Of course that could just be me and you all think I`m raving mad. I`m really not.... just a bit eccentric.... sometimes.
Anyway, I`m waffling, so back on track. We have all sorts of delectable delights for your person or home or to give as holiday gifts. See how I think of you all? Always trying to make life easier and simpler for you. Hmm... maybe I should have a medal, preferably white chocolate or dark chocolate, mmmm.
Now what did I do yesterday? A hospital appointment with hubby, a trip to the supermarket and computer work. I also saw the youngest two grandchildren as they popped in on their way home from school. That was nice. The 6 year old always runs ahead so my daughter calls me and I nip over the road to meet him on the corner. He flies along and leaps into my arms and I swing him around before we cross over and he runs indoors to raid the cupboard. When my daughter arrives with the little one he is already tucking into jelly, followed by a smoothie and then fruit flakes. The little one has a smoothie and a fruit bar, it`s all he wants. Then they are off again, bless them.
It certainly livened me up a bit as I had felt like I was moving through a fog all day due to a couple of restless nights.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Holly brings a festive feeling
when it`s hanging from the ceiling.
Then it brings even more
when it`s decorating the door.
A wreath always looks so fine,
so many I`d like to make mine.
See the Christmas spirit flowing
and the happy faces glowing.
Not THAT sort of spirit you know,
it`s happiness, that sets faces a glow,
Always so much laughter and delight
at every colourful christmas sight.
Pretty colours that sparkle and shine
always looking so very fine.
Twinkling and sparkling fairy lights
that brighten up the darkest nights.
Homes decorated, so bright and pretty
most folks happy and feeling witty.
Me I love the excitement and fun,
am always sad when it`s over and done.
