Mind you lot`s of people are like me and buy as they go along in the months leading up to it. Have a browse through the shops if you get the chance, there are so many gorgeous things appearing that it will definitely be worthwhile.
Had a great time at the weekend and made lot`s of new things, some for Halloween and some for Christmas. I have been listing a few Christmassy items over the last couple of days so a few more won`t hurt. Halloween is a different one for me but it`s great to do something different. You know what they say `A change is as good as a rest`, Not quite sure who the `they` is but `they` do creep in everywhere.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!
it was meant to go in his belly.
First it wouldn`t go on the spoon
then it fell off too soon.
It wobbled about and really jiggled
it shook very hard and wiggled.
It landed on the table first
but that wasn`t the worst.
On to the floor went a dollop
another landed on his lap with a wallop.
Jelly is a very tricky thing,
at least the spoon didn`t ping.
It could have ended up on the chair
or even the walls to be fair.
But no, he struggled bravely
to contain it, expression gravely
determined to win and get it down.
That was a very big frown.
Then with help it was gone
but he didn`t want another one!

Yet again, another fabulous blog and poem!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including my rope coil trinket pot and stand today, always such a treat to be featured.
Lots of gorgeous choices, in particular Ritzy's fab Christmas cards and Dottery's snowflake decorations, I think I must be feeling Christmassy.

Hi Linda
ReplyDeleteI haven't had an item of mine featured on a blog for quite a long time, so it is lovely that you have selected my journal. It is very much appreaciated. I love, love your poem - I could really picture it and the look on your grandson's face! Super, Linda as ever. Edwina

ReplyDeleteHis face was a picture Edwina as he desperately tried to get it into his mouth.
I`m starting to feel Christmassy too Natalie.
Absolutely loved the jelly poem! It really summed up how it is for small children struggling to eat jelly :-)
