July Jugglers #FolksyFriday

We haven`t had a Folksy Friday for a couple of weeks so I decided to do one today. With it being a new month there is of course a new daily listing club on Folksy run by Natalie of NOfkants Curios. Natalie does a sterling job of keeping it all going, adding the tally and bouying up spirits when required. It`s a time consuming job she fits around all her other commitments and really helps the sellers to raise their profile.
I have not been taking part in the club this month, or last month but cannot help going on the forums for a look at all the new listings on the club.
It`s funny how you miss it when you don`t take part and have been doing so for months. I might leap in yet, I`ll see and will almost certainly be back there next month, although I am having a weeks break at the beginning of August.
Yesterday I went with my daughter and her family to see the Olympic torch procession as it was leaving Norwich. Despite the early hour it was crowded with more arriving all the time, I was amazed at the volume of people. The two youngest grandchildren had their own Olympic flames. The 5 year old had a large one that he had taken to school for a procession there. He got a few compliments on it and the highlight for him was a police motorcyclist in the procession stopping and saying it was the best he had seen and holding it up. His little face was a picture, bless him.
Although it`s an historic occasion we will all probably remember it most for that now.
I`m very glad I went to see it, the atmosphere was lovely.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

I thought I`d do a little ditty
maybe try for something witty.
About a young man in a hurry and muddle
who then fell into a large puddle.
He didn`t know the water was deep
otherwise he would have tried to leap
across, or paid more attention,
something it`s alway good to mention.
In he went and then disappeared
it was much worse than we feared.
There was a mighty big splash
caused by him being rash.
A bubble, a ripple and a wave
then gone so fast we couldn`t save
even his backpack that disappeared fast
now he`s a memory from the past.
Do you know what happened next?
Well, we`re still waiting for a text....!
