Wise as an Owl #Etsy

This blog is from a treasury I did yesterday for the new Featured Seller of the week on the Crafty Folk team. It runs from Sunday to Sunday, so I thought I would get in quick.
Pat`s Paraphenalia is the featured shop and has a wide variety of creations on offer.
Pat`s bio says she has been an artist since very young and a polymer clay artist for 20 years. She used to sell at craft fairs but since giving them up has had more time to devote to other skills. Her shop is wonderful, a testament to her creative passions. Do have a browse and admire her work, feel free to buy if the urge overtakes you, I`m sure she won`t mind.
The first two items displayed below are not from the treasury as you can tell. I thought I would show a couple more of Pat`s items to give you an idea of her range.
All the creations featured are from Crafty Folk team members. Each shop is filled with wonderful creations just waiting for you to discover. Have fun.
Let me see now, what have I been doing?
Working on the computer a lot yesterday as the rain poured down. We did have bouts of sunshine but unfortunately it was so windy that it didn`t last.
I have been crocheting, making 2 white cotton wash sets for an order. The Ecru, red and black one sold and I haven`t got any more of that cotton at the minute. Have also been making some more scarves ready for the winter season, although it feels more like winter a lot of the time now. My pile of creations to be photographed is growing ever larger, all I need is some bright days and more time.
Time is so weird really isn`t it? When you are doing something you don`t like it goes so slowly but whenever you are doing things you love it just flies past much too quickly.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

I woke so early and oh dear
is that noise what I fear?
Yep you guessed rain again
will it drive us all insane?
Maybe it is a monsoon season
it`s possible that`s the reason.
Instead it is summer in Britain
and as usual we aren`t smitten
with the weather we`ve been dealt
it`s like winter many have felt.
Keep it quiet, but there`s a rumour
that summer could just be a late bloomer.
I`ve heard there could be warmth and sun,
I`m already dreaming of outdoor fun.
I`d begun to think winter was back
as warmth I was beginning to lack.
An odd day here and there
I don`t think is very fair
we get tempted with hope
and then it`s so hard to cope
with the thought of summer passing us by
as the year and months really fly.
I want to shout, wind go away
and don`t come back another day.
As for rain, enough is enough
it`s all been so very rough.
No one likes this funny weather
but we`ll all get through it together!!
