June Jollies #FolksyFriday

Hmm.... not sure what we are having on here today. I think I need to go and have a browse to see what I can find. Now a Folksy Friday generally has a theme so it would be nice to come up with something different.
Now if any of you have ideas on what I can have for a change do say in the comments. Keep it clean though.
Well after all that looking all I had to do was go on the forums and there it was staring me in the face, simple.
I have been very remiss and haven`t shown you the creations from Folksy`s daily listing club. This month they are called the June Jollies, a nice cheery name for the summer. Well it is a British summer so we need something cheering.
Anyway... here I go again, digressing. I do like that word, it kind of rolls around the tongue. I love words anyway... you may have noticed.
Right... back on subject. I have been looking through the listing club thread and discovered some wonderful creations for your perusal today. In fact, some positively delectable delights.
Hmm... I may, only may, be overdoing the word enjoyment here, so I`ll stop that now.
Did some housework yesterday... I know... it`s disgraceful, that`s twice this week now. To think that once upon a time I used to do it at least once a day if not twice. shudder.. But then there were children living at home, we aren`t so messy. Not to mention the fact that I have discovered life is too short and there are better things to do than waste time on endless housework. Yay!! Go me!!!
I`m becoming a rebel as I get older. I used to be quiet as a mouse, wouldn`t say boo to a goose and was very shy. Then I had children. What`s the saying? Something like `None so fierce as a mother in defence of her young`. Says it all really.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Oh dear me, this awful weather,
you could knock me down with a feather!
Who knew it could be so bad?
Maybe the worst June we`ve ever had.
Weather warnings, wind could be severe
whatever`s next, oh dear, oh dear.
Torrential rain to make us frown
which place next will likely drown?
Homes under water, fields awash
what`s happening now, golly gosh!
Where we are they still say drought.
I ask you, what`s that all about?
A hosepipe ban stays in place
no they can`t be seen to lose face.
Drought they said and drought it will be
until our county turns into sea.
If only they would lift the ban
then maybe nature finally can
see fit to give us a flaming June,
warmth and sun can`t come too soon.
Summer days and balmy at night,
sun or stars, a beautiful sight!!!
