April Artisans #Folksy

I couldn`t resist it yesterday and just had to go and look at the new listing club on Folksy for April. I discovered they are called the April Artisans which, I think, is a wonderful name and very indicative of what they do.
Finally the new listings page is back on Folksy. It is a row, near the bottom of the Front page, of tiny photographs but you can click a link to see more. It`s about time that its back.
I may well take part in the new club again this month even if I don`t list every day.
As usual Natalie of NOfkants Curios is presiding and keeping tally, cheering everyone on and supporting when required. She does a sterling job of a momentous task. I`m sure everyone who has and will take part agrees that she does a wonderful job. A big THANK YOU to Natalie.
Well yesterday I did some terrible tasks, namely housework that took most of the morning. So NOT good. But my 13 year old grandson came round and did the ironing for me. We sat and chatted a bit first while he told me what he had been up to and we chatted as he ironed. There was a fair amount to be done and he did a wonderful job. I did tell me there would be more during the week as I would be washing holiday clothing to freshen them up before we go away. As they are all on school holidays now, he thought this was a great idea. So did I as I hate ironing and he does it so well.
After a very chilly and cloudy start yesterday we ended up with blue skies and sunshine which was great, even though I was inside working away on the computer.
My sister popped round for a chat late afternoon, as we didn`t get the chance the other day and my younger daughter came in too for a while and we all chatted together. Nice to spend time with family.
Better stop waffling I suppose and think up a rhyme.
I thought the rhyme would be about the Artisans and craft but something else came out instead. Ooops.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

A clear night, the stars shiny bright
a velvet sky, such a beautiful sight.
Way up high hangs a half moon
but I noticed it appeared too soon.
Late afternoon the moon appeared
and yet the day hadn`t cleared.
Looked kind of odd just hanging there
and seemingly without a care.
I like to see it against the night sky,
much prefer it and don`t know why.
The moon by night and sun by day
a natural order is what I say.
Well we stood and gazed, me and the mister
at the wonderful, amazing panoramic vista.
Standing together gazing in awe
moving to lean against the door.
I suggest he says something romantic
all I get is a look that is frantic.
Married so long I know him well
he can`t think of anything, I can tell.
He makes me laugh and I giggle
as he thinks hard and tries to wriggle
out of the spot I`ve put him in
and he ends up giving me a grin.
We go back in and I get a hug
now I feel as snug as a bug.
A love of starry nights and more we share
about romantic words I don`t really care!

  3. Thank you as always Linda for your tireless blogging and your wonderful support of all crafters, artisans and general makers and shakers who love to create.

So kind of you to include my little cravat silk brooch in your selection today, must admit I think its one of my faves!

So pleased to see you listing with us again too, I knew you wouldn't be able to stay away, its very addictive isn't it.

If you feel like doing any more housework, you will be more than welcome at my house, your grandson can come too, sounds like he's a dab hand.

Hmm, now that you've told me that your 13 year old grandson does a grand job of the ironing - I think it's time my 12 and 13 year olds pulled your fingers out!
