Nutty Fruitcakes #Handmade #Folksy

Okay then, today it`s the turn of the February Fruitcakes on Folksy.
As many of you already know it`s the daily listing club for Feb on Folksy. We try to list a new item each day and support and promote each other as much as possible.
We cheer each others successes and offer support where necessary at low times. This blog is my way of trying to do my bit in the support arena. I do always click through and pin items on Pinterest each day but don`t always get back for the offering support or individual cheering on.

I do try though and I have been told often that I am very trying.

Yesterday I was at work slaving away but still, of course got some crocheting done. Have nearly finished the second scarf to give a choice from an order. The lady is a part of a group called the Red Hatters and they have get together's and outings etc, always wearing something red and often purple too. I am told that they look quite a sight all togged up and out together. They usually cause quite a stir wherever they go. I believe it is for ladies over 50 years of age and rarely includes the menfolk and I know they have a lot of fun together. Hence me making scarves in red and purple.

It is less than a week now until my younger daughters wedding, quite scarily close. I just cannot believe how fast the time is running away and ticking down to the big day. I expect I shall put lots of wedding items on here on that day to celebrate the nuptials, something to look forward to.
Right, better get the rhyme done.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Dawn, everything sparkles and gleams,
but all is not as it seems.
Shimmering light all aglow,
it`s not diamonds, what a blow.
The sharp frost reminds us it`s cold,
early morning walks just for the bold.
Siberian temperatures are not good,
now Mother nature really should
start warming up the earth
because there`s definitely a dearth
of new plants sprouting green
that really should be seen.
We want spring warming the air
so we can walk without a care
enjoying the promise of new life
without all the present strife
of treading carefully on ice
that tricks you in a trice.
I`d like to think that very soon Spring
will take the crown and become King!!
