Fruity Nuts #Handmade #Folksy

Have you guessed it? Yes? Today it`s the February Fruitcakes listing club on Folksy. I just realised that we hadn`t had them on here for a bit, so here they are. Ta da!!!
The crafts in the listing club just seem to keep on getting better and better. Not sure how that`s possible, but they do. The standard was high to begin with but these crafters just keep on raisng the bar. If you are looking for a gift or a treat that`s unique and of high quality then you won`t go far wrong with any of these.
Got a bit out of rythmn with all the goings on, the wedding and all. Now we are about to launch into birthday celebrations over the next three days. I trust you are all feeling sorry for me having to keep on celebrating. Whoopeeeee!! I`ll be sure to have the odd glass and think of you all.
On that note I shall say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my daughter and grandson. Her age is ..... and he is 13 yrs old. Officially a teenager.
Now what did I do yesterday. Ahh yes... We went out food shopping and on the way back stopped at a shop where I bought myself a lemon tree and a lavender tree. There had been an orange tree too but I was too late and missed out. Still I am very pleased with the two I did get. The lemon tree already has lemons on it. Both trees are gorgeous. One happy customer, me!
I also finished off five hairbands in red with white flowers. I had an enquiry about a red headband with a white flower, so I made more so there is a choice. Of course the lady may not like any of them but that`s okay, I`m sure someone will if not.
It was dry in the morning yesterday but very windy and cloudy but by lunchtime the rain had come in and it was miserable. It was supposed to be milder but it didn`t feel like it the wind was so cold and blustery, hence the rhyme.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

The wind was blowing fit to bust
oh dear, that was a very big gust.
The garden is a whirling mess
it will have to be cleared I guess.
Luckily that`s hubby`s job, not mine
he`ll soon have it looking fine.
A chair is over, on it`s back
covers for them are something I lack.
Falling twigs and swirling leaves,
glad I`ve got on long sleeves.
Feeling sorry for every child
the wind tends to make them wild.
A teacher once told me that,
to them I take off my hat.
I`ve heard it from other sources since
and now the wind`s sound makes me wince.
Hats get grabbed and then they fly
all you can do is wave them bye bye.
The washing gets whisked away
looks like it is trying to play.
Fences rattle trying to escape
this is so much more than a jape.
It blows so hard it sounds scary
making one and all a bit wary.
Stay indoors safe and snug,
warm just like a bug in rug!!

@Edwina, sometimes writing a bit everyday helps even if you don`t immediately publish it. I`ve done mine for so long now each day that`s it`s automatic. Not sure I could stop now.
