Craftily Different #Handmade #Folksy

It`s the turn of Folksy today and I went looking for creations that were a bit different and really caught the eye. All of these, I think, measure up in their own way. I know all crafts are that bit different because each crafter puts their own ideas and ways of doing things into their craft. But these, I feel, have that something extra or are just totally different, or an entirely new take on an idea. Once you have a look I think you`ll see what I mean.
For me all of these really stood out and I just had to include them. Of course all tastes are different and you may look at them and not feel the same way, which is of course your prerogative. Me, I loved them all and thought they were all fabulous.
Yesterday I had several parcels to take to the post office so I decided to take them into the city and post them from there. There were a few things I had thought of getting last week, craft things, for some new ideas I have. More about that at a later date. I also bought a ball of wool. Only one.... but it was a very large ball, very large. I didn`t mean to.... well actually... yes I did obviously, because I went and looked. Silly me. I really am going to have to knit and crochet faster. My supplies could probably last me at least two years, even with knitting and crocheting more than I do now.
My 13 yr old grandson came and did my ironing for me. Yay!!! There was a lot, bless him, but he got through it all. He does such a good job of it too and doesn`t put off doing anything. He even does the shirts and those I use to put off and keep putting to the bottom of the basket and never quite got round too. I am now ironing free and it feels great.
My daughter popped in with the two youngest after school so I got lots of cuddles which was great. It was lovely to see them.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

I went off for a look around,
just see what I have found.
Some real treasures, what a treat,
I hope you`re comfy in your seat.
Butterflies for your hair,
won`t they make folk stare.
A letter opener so divine
I`d really like to make it mine.
Stunning cards and beautiful art
to make a choice where would you start?
Gorgeous jewellery, so far from the norm,
a hare and a tortoise, such great form.
A stunning bowl, a beautiful pot
don`t you think they`re really hot?
A Cushion, a make up bag and a case
To lay on, for the ipad and for the face.
A felted bag, so different too
all of these are made for you.
These creators all love their craft,
even though others often think them daft.
They all feel the joy and the passion,
it`s not about what`s in the fashion.
It`s about an idea that springs into being
all through a vision that they are seeing.
Then a finished piece, what a delight,
for one and all a wonderful sight!!
