New Years Eve #Handmade #Folksy

Can you feel the hint of excitement in the air? Are you like me looking forward to the New Year ahead? Tonight is the time for fun and looking forward to seeing the New Year in with friends or family or both. I hope you all have a good time wherever you are and that there is much laughter, pleasure and delight in the company you are with, whether it`s many or very few.
Must admit I always decide to try and be a better person, never very sure how well I do, but I am sure that there is always room for more improvement so I continue to keep trying.
I just love New Year with the thought of all the possibilities ahead. It`s like a new canvas and the picture you make can be anything you like or want, it`s entirely up to you.
Thinking you`d like to make changes in your life? Finding it a daunting task and to big an effort? Then just take baby steps, that`s all it takes. If someone had told me two years ago that I would be doing all of this, I wouldn`t have believed them or believed it was possible. But one step at a time I have done it. I still have much to learn but I am slowly and surely getting there. Amazing!
Todays crafts are choices I made while looking through selections under various headings on the home page. I had wandered for a while, through the forums, checking out various threads seeking inspiration, without any luck. But I am delighted with this variety of crafts that I chose and hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
Didn`t do anything exciting yesterday. Just parcelled up some items to send then walked to the post office. On the way home I collected my eldest grandson to come and be my ironing fairy. He did an excellent job after which I could no longer put off a trip to the supermarket. Bleurgh!!!!! Can you believe how busy it was? Cars everywhere queueing up to get in as well as out. Luckily inside wasn`t so bad, I think we caught it between waves of shoppers. Straight on to till and out after whizzing round at breakneck speed. Yahoo!!
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Do you call it Old Years Night
looking back at last years plight?
Or do you call it New Years Eve
with a hint of magic up your sleeve?
Are you looking forward or back
thinking positive or of lack?
A New Year holds a promise of things to come
as we consider what`s gone and sum
up events and put them in their place
and fix a smile upon our face.
Learn from the events of the past
and then finally at last
put them all right away
because soon it`ll be New Years Day.
Don`t make resolutions you can`t keep
in time they`ll only make you weep
and then you`ll feel like a failure
as though you just have to endure.
Resolve to have no resolutions
instead start a revolution.
Be positve each and every day
and your life will improve in every way!
