MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

Hope you all have a fabulous CHRISTMAS!!!!

After all the months of preparation, the frantic rushing around, the cooking frenzy, it`s finally here! CHRISTMAS DAY! Yay!
Time to slow down.... or not if you have young children in the house, or any children come to that.
We will get up at our leisure as we are out for Christmas lunch and this evening will be at my older daughters enjoying her wonderful hospitality. Then we`ll get to play with the childrens presents too.
Don`t you find that children get some great stuff these days, usually much more fun than the adults things. We tend to ask for and receive eminently practical stuff. Although not always. There are times we get fun pressies too.
The pictures below are all from my shop and just added to bring a bit of festive colour to the proceedings.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Christmas Day is finally arrived
it`s been hard work as we strived
to get everything done for the big day,
for the kids it`s all play.
Santa`s gone home, his work is done
he`s happy the kids will have fun.
He`ll have eaten and drunk too much
but makes the effort cos it`s a nice touch.
He may be just a little wobbly,
perhaps the suit a little `bobbly`.
Staggering against too many walls
and maybe a few odd falls?
He does his best to make it round,
feet barely touching the ground.
We don`t begrudge a few million sips
but which one is it that tips
poor Santa over the edge
so he feels he`s clinging to a ledge.
He eats mince pies to soak up the booze,
now he`s gone home for a well earned snooze!!
