Inspired Crafts #Handmade #Folksy

Not sure what to have in here today. Inspiration is lacking entirely. So I am off to have a wander.......
Thought about gifts for men because they are always hard to buy for.......
Couldn`t find much variety but I have posted a messge on the forums asking for mens gifts. Fingers crossed that it provides enough for a blog another day. I know there are lots of things but if they don`t tag the items with the word `mens` or put it in the title, then they don`t come up in the search. So that`s a possible for another day. Off again.......
Well saw a few things that caught my eye quite quickly, so I think I will go for random creations that I like the look of.
Didn`t get very far yesterday as I was feeling a bit under the weather. I did however manage to finish, finally, a collar that was awaiting two buttons and has been sitting there for months. I didn`t get as far as the other two that also require buttons. The day was too dull and dreary for taking pics, so that was out.
I did manage to add a few new things to the website however, so that was a good job done. I was going to babysit my youngest grandson as he hates fireworks and the rest wanted to go, but a friend of theirs didn`t want to go, so she babysat and stayed with the dogs.
The hat I been making and taken out a couple of times was almost finished when I kept looking at it this way and that. I still wasn`t happy so it all came out again, but now it is well on the way to being a new hat. Much happier with it this time.
Have a few new ideas brewing, but they haven`t coalesced as yet, just vague ideas in the back of my head. Watch this space.

Bright colours lighting up the sky
flying stars up on high.
So pretty flying through the air,
I hope that they all took care.
Loud bangs shake the window
followed by a flash and glow.
Whistles rent the air tonight
as rockets zoomed in flight.
Yet other fireworks scream
an unearthly sound, they seem
to go on for ever and ever,
the makers are so clever.
Each year they seem to get bigger,
not really sure why, go figure.
The sounds seem to be louder too
and the colours prettier to view.
A bright red and another of gold
the colours vivid, oh so bold.
Green, blue and sparkling white,
standing out against the night.
A gorgeous show that`s gone so fast
as the night fades into the past.
I hope that you all had fun,
now that Fireworks night is done!
